The Hospital Home Health offers assistance to anyone who is home-bond due to an illness or chronic condition. Home health is covered by Medicare, Medicaid, and most private insurances. Our skilled nursing care services include:

• Medication management
• IV therapy
• Foley catheter changes
• IV therapy and injections with qualifying diagnosis
• Physical therapy
• Wound care and diabetic education
• Baths and hygiene assistance by a certified home health aide

The Special Services Program is made up of a multi-disciplinary team of licensed therapists, social workers, nurses, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals which work closed with each patient during their hospitalization.

• 20-bed psychiatric unit
• Admission 24/7 every day
• Acute stabilization for adults over the age of 19
• Male and female patients are admitted to the unit
• Average length of stay is 7-10 days
• Most major insurances are accepted, including Medicare and Medicaid

Crenshaw Community Hospital’s Lab offers physicians and their patients the best in phlebotomy and collection services.

• Same-day service on most routine tests
• 7:30 AM – 5:30 PM
• Results can be faxed, remote printed, electronically interfaced, mailed or hand delivered

Experienced screening technicians work with board certified radiologist to provide a comfortable environment, early detection and in-depth diagnostic images. Radiology services include:

• CT Scans
• Ultrasound
• X-Ray
• Mammography

Various treatments and infusions, ordered by a physician are provided by Crenshaw Community Hospital’s Outpatient Services:

• lV antibiotics and IV fluids
• Blood transfusions
• IV treatments for osteoporosis
• G tube replacement

Crenshaw Community Hospital’s surgical team performs general surgery, as well as endoscopy procedures. Our caring and knowledgeable staff provides the upmost level of care and personal attention.

Your physician will see you at least once per day and more often if necessary.
